Mature Messenger
The Mature Messenger is AOP's quarterly newsletter filled with timely articles on topics of interest to Southern Tier midlife and older adults. The newsletter contains notices of seminars, workshops, classes, and other special events scheduled for the quarter. AOP members are placed on a special mailing list to receive the newsletter at their home or place of business. For membership information, click here. Now That Your Loved One Is Home: What Do You Do?

Maybe you've been a caregiver for years, or maybe you've just found yourself leaving the nursing home or hospital with your loved one. In either case, once you're home with your loved one, chances are you're facing an important question: What do I do now? This video is intended to help you answer those questions in positive ways. By looking at local services and hearing from those who have used them, you'll be better aware of the options available to you.

AOP publishes a number of valuable resources, including a helpful Medigap summary spreadsheet that provides an overview of supplemental plans available to Broome County's Medicare beneficiaries, insurance companies that sell them, and their current premium rates. The Medigap sheet and other helpful materials are available free of charge to AOP clients. Professionals who are AOP Supporting Members have access to regular updates of these valuable materials.
