Action for Older Persons' Annual Meeting

Paying for Long-Term Care Sessions

If you’re between 45 and 65, this seminar is for you! This seminar will provide a balanced look at paying for long-term care, including LTC insurance, NY State Partnership Plans, guidelines for determining affordability and risk, the role of Medicare and Medicaid, home equity and other ways to generate income to offset the costs. Receive sound information with practical consumer tips from an unbiased “no sales” source. Presented by Cathy Tulloch, LTCIEOP Program Coordinator, and Doris DiRado, LTCIEOP Program Specialist.

Advance Planning Workshops

This free workshop will provide information on Health Care Proxies and Living Wills, and copies of the necessary forms. Advance Planning volunteers will be on hand to provide free counseling and for witnessing of documents. Presented by Jennifer Benjamin, Program Coordinator.
