AOP's 2009 Annual Meeting
On June 11, 2009, AOP held it's annual meeting. We were joined by friends, volunteers, and Elder Friendly business representatives for a look back at the past year. We'd like to thank everyone who attended, and for those who were unable, here's what you missed:
BOARD ELECTIONS:
The following persons, previously elected to the Board of Directors, were
re-elected to serve on the Board of Directors with their terms to expire
in:
2010: Donna Gavula andDenise Mughetti
2011: Judith Kessler, Mark Johnson and Caroline Vadala
2012: Nora Bush, Leah Cunningham, Sharon Galli, Gene LaBare and Janet Vanek
The following persons were elected to serve on the Board of Directors for a three-year term to expire in 2012: Gregory S. Lesko, Margaret Menart, and Suzann Koehler
The following slate of officers was elected for the 2009-2010 term:
President - Denise Mughetti
Vice-President - Mark Johnson
Secretary - Janet Vanek
Treasurer - Nora Bush

VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION:
Each year, the Henry E. Beach Award is presented to a volunteer that has
gone above and beyond their volunteer duties to further the mission of AOP.
This year's recipent was Marge Menart. Marge is an Elder Friendly volunteer
evaluator who has not only been a part of evaluating the majority of the
current businesses, but has also helped recruit new volunteers and bring
businesses on board. You will note, she is also one of our three newest
board members elected at this meeting.
